Frequently asked questions
Where do I buy a subscription?
On this website. Go to Pricing on the home page, choose a plan and a monthly or yearly period, and pay by card. You need a Mizan account to subscribe; if you do not have one yet, you create it as part of the same flow.
I subscribed on the website — how does the app know?
Your subscription belongs to your Mizan account, not to the device you bought it on. Open the app and sign in with the same email address you used here, and the plan is already there. If the app still shows the old plan, pull to refresh on the home screen, or sign out and back in.
How do I change my currency?
Go to Settings > Currencies. Choose a main currency for totals and reports; each account can have its own currency. Live rates update daily, and you can override any rate manually.
How do I export my data?
Settings > Data > Export. Choose PDF for a formatted report, or Excel or CSV for raw data. Exports follow your app language and text direction.
How do I cancel my subscription?
If you subscribed on this website, open your Your account and choose “Manage subscription”. That opens the billing portal, where you can cancel in one click. If you subscribed inside the app, cancel in the store you bought from — iPhone: Settings > your name > Subscriptions > Mizan; Android: Play Store > Profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > Mizan. Either way you keep access until the end of the paid period.
Is my bank connected to Mizan?
No. Mizan never connects to banks and never asks for bank credentials. You enter transactions yourself, scan receipts, or import a file. This is deliberate: nothing can be pulled from your bank without you.
Does the AI coach see everything?
Only when you use it. When you ask a question, the relevant text of your question and the data needed to answer it is sent to OpenAI’s API for processing. Nothing is sent in the background. See the privacy policy for details.
How do I delete my account?
In the app under Settings > Account > Delete account, or on this website from the Delete Account page while signed in. Deletion is permanent and removes all of your financial data. Cancel any active subscription first — deleting the account does not stop billing by itself.
