Terms of Service

Mizan is a budgeting and tracking tool. It shows you information based on data you enter and produces estimates, forecasts and summaries from that data.

Mizan is not financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Its outputs, including those from the AI coach, are informational only and may be incomplete or wrong. You are responsible for your financial decisions. Consult a qualified professional for advice specific to your situation.

Mizan does not connect to bank accounts, does not hold money and does not make payments on your behalf.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the higher minimum age in your country) to use Mizan. You must provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in details confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Mizan offers a free 7-day trial and paid plans (Basic, Smart, Pro AI) billed monthly or yearly. Prices are listed in US dollars in the Pricing section of our website.

Buying on this website: card payments are processed by Stripe, Inc., our payment processor. You enter your card details on Stripe’s own checkout page, not on ours; we receive only the outcome of the payment and the resulting subscription status. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout.

Buying inside the app: if you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, that purchase is billed by the store under the store’s own terms, and the store handles its renewals and refunds.

One account either way: a subscription belongs to your Mizan account, not to a device. However you bought it, you get it by signing in to the same account.

Renewal: subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless cancelled before the period ends.

Cancellation: a subscription bought on this website can be cancelled at any time from your Your account, which opens the billing portal. A subscription bought in a store must be cancelled in that store. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription. After cancelling you keep access until the end of the paid period.

Refunds: for purchases made on this website, write to support@mizan-ai.org and we will review your request; any statutory cancellation or refund rights you have where you live are unaffected. For store purchases, refunds are handled by that store under its refund policy.

We may change prices for future billing periods. You will be notified before a price change applies to you.

You agree not to: use Mizan for anything unlawful; attempt to access other users’ data; reverse engineer, scrape or interfere with the service; use automated tools to overload the service or the AI coach; or resell access to Mizan.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, after notice where practical.

You own the data you enter. You grant us a licence to store and process it solely to provide the service to you, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can export or delete it at any time.

We work to keep Mizan available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may add, change or remove features. If we discontinue the service, we will give reasonable notice so you can export your data.

Mizan is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including accuracy of calculations, forecasts and AI outputs, and fitness for a particular purpose. Exchange rates are provided for information and may differ from rates applied by your bank.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mizan and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data or financial loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service, including decisions made in reliance on it. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, these limits apply to the extent permitted.

You may stop using Mizan and delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for breach of these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (data ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability) survive termination.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the updated terms.
